Applications now open For 2023 Prince of Wales Award

Applications are now open for Australian Defence Force (ADF) Reserve personnel to apply for the 2023 Prince of Wales Award, in recognition of the contribution made by Reservists and their civilian employers to Defence capability.

The Prince of Wales Award scheme acknowledges selected Reservists and their civilian employers for their commitment to, and support of, ADF service. It provides financial assistance for SERCAT 3–5 members of up to $8000, to undertake a professional development activity that benefits their civilian employment or profession.

The activity could be a formal qualification, attendance at a course or conference, or another professional development activity.

ADF Reservists who hold a substantive rank of Leading Seaman or Corporal to Lieutenant Commander, Major or Squadron Leader, regardless of trade or specialisation, may apply for the Award.

Further information about eligibility criteria and how to apply for a 2023 Prince of Wales Award can be found at Awards and Recognition - Defence Reserves Support
